Hiring Newbold House for workshops, courses, conferences, presentations, film showings etc

Our function rooms can be hired for residential and non-residential programmes. 

Hire of the Art Room, Front Room, Sanctuary, or Conservatory for non-residential participants (and payable by the person hiring the room):

Hire of the Art Room, Front Room, Sanctuary or Conservatory, for between 1-6 days, for residential participants in shared rooms:

Hire of the Art Room, Front Room, Sanctuary or Conservatory for residential programmes of 7 days or longer (residential participants in shared rooms):

                      PLEASE NOTE: Single bedrooms during workshops attach a supplement of £15 extra per night.

Discounts possible
For every 8 full-fee residential participants, a free room and meals is given to the workshop leader(s) – who can choose to use this accommodation and meal offer for themselves, or offer it as a bursary to a low/no waged workshop participants.

For workshops of 20 or more residential and non-residential participants further discounts can be negotiated.

We also offer very good rates for special events - such as weddings, celebratory dinners, dances, music evenings, etc. 

Qualified, registered and insured therapists are able to hire our counselling and healing rooms at the rate of £3.00 per hour, payable at the end of a session or day (therapists who have a long-term relationship with Newbold may pay weekly/monthly for room use). 

Short-stay guests in shared or single rooms

Shared rooms: have 2, 3, 4 or 5 beds depending on the size of the room.
We have limited single room availability, but can usually provide at least one or two singles room at any given time.

There is a single supplement of:

• £10 per night extra when Newbold House is less busy
• £15 per night extra when there is a workshop on and accommodation is limited
